Go Track a Yak!

Somewhere in cold northern climes, two less than brilliant parents despair at their baby’s failure to thrive – until a heartless crone appears and commands the father to . . . Go Track a Yak!

Written by Tony Johnston, author of more than a hundred children’s books, and exuberantly illustrated by Kansan Tim Raglin, Go Track a Yak is filled with the kind of wordplay and imagery that will engage your little one for reading after reading after reading. It’s an excellent book for read aloud. And, of course, all ends well.

And even better, on Thursday May 20th at 1:30 pm, illustrator Tim Raglin (also author of The Curse of Catunkhamun) will be joining us in the library to discuss and sign his books, and may even be persuaded to read a line or two. Bring your little ones and join us for the fun.

(See also The Wolf Who Cried Boy and Bill in a China Shop for more of Tim Raglin’s excellent work.)
