The enormous sauropod dinosaurs achieved their stupendous size in part because they didn’t follow your mother’s advice: They didn’t chew their food. They gulped it down.

Such are the conclusions of a team of paleontological researchers from the University of Bonn, as reported in Jurassic Fast Food Was a Key to Giant Dinosaurs in Science Daily. As you’ll see, the discovery has myriad interesting implications.
