In February, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the US Department of Health and Human Services released its 33rd annual report to the President and Congress on the state of the nation’s health.

The voluminous 574-page report, Health, United States, 2009, encompasses 150 data tables and a special feature section on Medical Technology in addition to its comprehensive overview of the state of health of contemporary America.
