Islands From Above

From NASA's Landsat 7 satellite, the largest of the Galapagos Islands, Isla Isabela, and its nearest neighbors

Earlier this month, Wired Magazine posted an absolutely phenomenal slideshow of nearly a dozen islands as viewed from near-Earth orbit: Out of the Blue: Islands Seen from Space. From presently uninhabited Millennium Island in Kiribati to the Hawaiian Island chain, the images are stunning.
