Mother Goose and her three ducklings

On your travels through Riggs Park as summer nears an end, you too may have noticed the Mother Goose who has, since much earlier in the season, been diligently nurturing her brood of three adopted ducklings. At times when all the other geese have flown away, she has remained, never far from her young charges. She ardently protects them from harm, even fending off the flocks of migratory geese that have of late been burgeoning about the park environs. It won’t be long, however, before her little trio has grown and flown. We wish the little family well.
