The State of Kansas ranks 5th among all states in the number of library visits per capita (5.9), a level surpassed only by Ohio (6.9), Colorado (6.3), Connecticut (6.1) and Indiana (6.1).
The Haysville Community Library, with 7.13 library visits per capita, exceeds not only the statewide average, but also the average of the highest ranking state.
In fact, the Haysville Community Library’s level of per capita visits is more than double the number of per capita visits in eleven states (Alabama, Delaware, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, South Carolina and New Mexico).
With the new library building constantly progressing and all the other innovative changes underway, we think we can improve that lead — and we hope that you agree.
